Does anyone else's child get very emotional after Christmas

My son is really emotional at the moment and says he's sad about Christmas being over and burst into tears earlier when I mentioned putting the tree away. We've had a lovely time and he is so sad about it all being over!
Is anyone else's child really emotional like this?

I wouldn't say my child is emotional in that she is sad about Christmas being over buy my lord her behaviour is challenging right now and I put that down to Christmas/Christmas being over. Everything has been so crazy, busy, no routine etc. She's only 3 and it's just been a lot. Sounds like your boy has had such a wonderful time.

Perfectly normal if my house is anything to go by.
Normal routine goes out the window, they are loads of family and are the centre of attention, they love the idea of Father Christmas coming. Tend to have too much chocolate, and that sugar high alongside a lack of sleep gets to mine.
We put out DC back into strict routine s couple of days ago and the youngest still isn't quite back to normal yet - but he will.

That should read - They see loads of family
