Gift ideas for friend that's hard to buy for

Its my friends birthday in 2 weeks and she's so hard to buy for because she's really picky so with clothes etc there will always be something she doesn't like about them. I'm not criticising her for this I just really want to get her a good gift but am struggling so much! Her only hobby is gardening which she doesn't really enjoy but has to do. For my birthday a few months ago she got me 2 really thoughtful gifts. I think maybe I'll get her a few bits for the house like a candle but is that a big cop out? Any ideas thank you

How about taking her out for lunch/afternoon tea or something like that? What's your budget?

Maybe a voucher for someone else to do her garden?

Sacked off gifts this year!

With one friend, we are doing theatre twice a year, once for birthdays, once for Christmas, paid for our own tickets and usually have a nice lunch before a matinee. other friends we are just going out for a meal. Time is more important for us now we are older, we can buy everything we need either that or buy me some vodka!

I had a wood wick candle for Christmas which is gorgeous
Lovely design and the wick actually crackles when lit.. within your budget
