My symptoms are ok on an everyday basis, but I seem to be having episodes every month or so of stomach cramps, fainting and internal bleeding. I've been so tired recently and have taken to using my 1 hour lunch break for naps (when I'm working from home). I get anxious going to the office as I'm worried I'll have a flare-up whilst I'm there/on my commute. I've also been so run down and have caught virus and after virus this winter.
My blood tests have come back normal (i.e. no anaemia), but my stool samples show high inflammation so my GP thinks I have inflammatory bowel disease. I have an urgent referral but it's going to take 6+ months due to hospital waiting times and I can't afford to go private.
The tiredness and anxiety has meant I'm struggling to concentrate at work. I feel silly as on a day-to-day basis my symptoms are minor and I probably just need to get a grip
