Anyone have the Milanese loop for the Apple Watch?

I didn't get on with the silicon strap it came with (kept getting damp underneath and ended up with a rash?), tried a cheap nylon strap (also got a rash), bought a nice leather one (not the Apple brand) which worked well for ages but then started getting a bit smelly, finally bought a knock off Milanese loop which worked really well.

The thing is, in the last few months, it seems like the edge of the strap keeps catching on my sleeve and roughing up the end of my jumper sleeves.

So I’m back in the market for a new strap 😳 the official Apple Milanese strap is not cheap but I wonder if it’s better quality than the very cheap internet knock off I was using?

Does anyone have one and are they worth the money? Will I still have the same issue of jumper fluff catching in the edge of it?

@EdwinsActsOfKindness I haven’t bought the Apple one OP but I have a few different metal straps from Coconut Lane and have had no issue with them catching 😊

I got mine from ebay, they're absolutely fine and no different to the Apple one that dh has, except the ridiculous price tag.

I have two Milanese apple straps in different colours and no issue ever with catching - not even on my very fine knits.

Thanks, I like the look of the Coconut Lane ones 😊

I think I must have been unlucky with the one I ordered last time!

I do! It always catches on hair and hurts my husband and son when I'm cuddling them! It is convenient and looks pretty though. X

I have the silver Milanese loop from Apple and am very pleased with it. It doesn't catch and doesn't irritate my skin as other straps have.

Thanks MoleAtTheCounter.

Can I ask if you’ve worn it a lot? Does it still look good?

The other gripe I have about the one I bought is that it looks a bit tarnished and battered (just normal everyday living, not scaling rocky mountains or anything like that).

I can't remember when I got mine (12 months) but there is no tarnishing and it looks like new.
