Best boxsets for family of teenagers?

Would love recommendations for any good series or box sets that work for a family with DC between 13-16, please? I'm finding it impossible to please everyone!

(Guessing it may actually be impossible, but holding out hope for now Grin).

Dark (on Netflix) is brilliant once you get into it - a clever inter-generational jigsaw puzzle of time-travel drama and intrigue in a small German town. We've been binge-watching it with our 16yo over the holidays and talk about it lots, trying to figure out the missing pieces of the puzzle and who is related to who. (You can google for the family trees when you get confused!).

The Good Doctor

Also, don't forget classics like Spooks and West Wing. Still hard to beat, and box sets all over eBay and charity shops.

We all (age 15-52!) really enjoyed Ted Lasso on Apple TV.
Also all enjoyed the queens gambit on Netflix.

It's tough trying to find stuff to watch together isn't it?

scarecrow22 · 03/01/2023 23:20

And Man in the High Castle (Amazon Prime)? Can't remember if okay for a 13yo - prob depends on the 13yo. I adored it, but gather it's not everyone's taste. I could watch Rufus Sewell forever in that role: his charisma is so menacing and at the same time scarily attractive. The central idea would make for some great chat, and the developments of the films too.

Along with lots of the ones already mentioned, we all love Death In Paradise.
We also recently watched The Young Ones, and this evening my 13yo put on the American version of the Office which seems to be going down well.
Our absolute fave though is Ghosts.
