Another (presumably) very fit and active person succumbing to this disease. I wish her well.

All this healthy lifestyle advice doesn't seem to matter much where cancer is concerned , judging by the numbers of people, many young and fit, with an overall healthy life getting it.

She hasn’t succumbed yet, and given it’s early stage for both, we can hope she’ll live long enough to die a long while from now and from something else.

Yes you are right, I used the wrong phrase there. Diagnosed with would probably have been better. Mea culpa.

Anyway, my second point still stands. I am amazed and saddened by the numbers contracting cancer whether fit and healthy or not.

I wish only good things towards Martina and hope she is well and happy.
