I haven't had a break

I've been doing all the Christmas stuff. I'm the one who has emptied the dishwasher and loaded it again while DH lumps around doing pretty much nothing. He's had a lovely relaxing Christmas break. I've had enough of him just sitting around stuffing his face while I'm the one entertaining our DC. I'm so close to just walking out and booking a weekend away

I don't mean to be trite but have you talked to him and discussed an even split of chores?

It lasts about 3 days

Then it stops

Had enough. He was an independent man when I met him and has two children from previous relationship who he managed to look after.

I feel like a maid sometimes.

I'm going to stop doing any of his washing too.
