My next door neighbour's 22 year old son has serious drug induced mental health issues. He is often loud and aggressive in the house (attached semi) and the police/ambulance are called relatively regularly.
This time last year i had the mum in tears in our kitchen with a glass of wine trying to be supportive and letting her vent but it was literally a case if she knocked for something else & it all came out. We dont have a relationship where I know her v well at all. It doesn't have a big impact on us at all, no more than me roaring at the children does I guess. My wwyd, is so i send a card/flowers or something to say I hope she's ok and let me know if she need anything, or is that intrusive and making her worried we are being nosey due to police etc.
