I want to know if anyone has had something similar happen or can give me an explanation as to what has happened.
I have just found head lice eggs in my child’s hair BUT they are an inch down the hair shaft, not at the scalp. From what I have read this means these are old eggs from a previous infestation but this is the first time I have ever found anything in their hair. And I have never had any reason to think they had head lice before now. I have searched for about an hour and found about 40 eggs all about an inch from the scalp but no sign at all of any live lice. How is this possible?
