Toddler holiday in February?

We are lucky enough to be able to afford a weeks holiday in Feb. We had a shite year last year and really looking forward to a change of scenery. We have a 2.5 year old.

We are tossing up between UK or Canaries. Can anyone suggest?

Will Canaries be warm enough to be outside in short sleeves? UK holiday would be a cottage with short walks / farm animals nearby or similar. Canaries would be seaside and pool.

All weather permitting I guess.

Any tips? Thanks.

The weather is always a gamble where ever you go in the world, but generally yes, it’s short and t-shirt weather in Tenerife in February. We’ve spent days on the beach and have come back with a tan in Feb half term. It will be chilly in the mornings and evenings and we’d probably be out of the pool by 4pm. Some hotels have heated kids pools just to be on the safe side e.g. Fantasia Bahia Principe, Roca Nivaria and Ritz-Carlton Abama.

We had some
lovely February trips to Lanzarote when the kids were small. Summer clothes during the day, with a jacket/sweater in the evening.
