Baby shower gifts

What are some of the best baby shower gifts you recieved? Things you actually used?

A giant muslin for my spring baby, perfect for impromptu light weight picnic blanket, sun shade, changing mat, dribble wipe, bib etc.

I tend to crochet a baby blanket for friends / relatives.

I don't give them at baby showers though. I'm quite old school in thinking it's bad luck to give a baby gift before baby is safely here.
