Where can I get a cheap haircut in London?

I am a student living in Southwark, London (SE1) . Can anyone recommend anywhere to go for a hair cut that is cheap. I have long hair and was hoping for a bit of a restyle. I am a bit poverty stricken as surviving on student loan.

Do you have a college nearby that does hairdressing courses? They always need models hair to cut for a small fee.

Yes, look at the local colleges hairdressing courses and approach them about cost of haircuts if you offer to be a model.

Scissor happy hairdressers love long hair that needs taming! And even if you don't like it, it will grow again.

When I was a student I used to go to the Vidal Sassoon hairdressers school, it still exists!

Or buy one if those hair cutting devices where you clamp the hair straight ant cut it. Might need a trusted friend!

The Vidal Sassoon Academy is incredible - it takes longer than a normal haircut but any time I went, it was experienced hairdressers visiting Vidal Sassoon for continuous learning and development as it's still such a world class name.
