We have a 5yr old lab x, and for the past 8 weeks or so he’s been off his food. He’s been vomiting as well and he has been seeing the vets regularly. He’s been diagnosed with acid reflux and his body is struggling to break down fat and protein. He’s on omeprazole and pardale-v, and was prescribed a specific food but he’s just not interested in anything. He also lost interest in the previous foods so it’s not just happened since changing to this one
We’ve tried different foods, we’ve tried adding broth, gravy, wet food, changing bowls, hand feeding, moving the bowl to different places around the kitchen, feeding at different times but he’s just not interested in it at all. I would say he’s eating about 30% of what he used to be eating before, and he’s already a bit underweight. He’s seeing the vets again this week, but they’re a bit stumped too so I would be grateful for any suggestions
