Where were all the New Year Day early am runners??

Just back from the same run I have done at the same time on NY day for the last 6years.

Beautiful mild morning.

I always pass a handful of runner and we wish each other a happy new year.

but not a single runner out today, and my run incorporate roads and a park.

have you been?! If not, it’s glorious!

Perhaps people have a rest on a Sunday?

although I run every Sunday and usually pass lots. And there’s the junior park run on a Sunday of course…

It was pouring with rain earlier. I turned over and went back to sleep. 🙂

Probably all on the way to parkrun, that’s where all the runners I know go on NYD.

Glad I've not left the house, just had a heavy shower, even though only a 3% chance of rain.

I'm ill with this bloody virus that's been going around. Day 11 now and sick and fed up

I’m in Scotland, the sun is only just coming up now. I only run early in the morning during the summer months. In the winter, I run later in the day.

It's a lovely day, going to out for a long fell run with a friend and my border collie no need to get up at the crack of dawn. The teenagers will probably sleep till lunchtime anyway so I won't be missed!
