How the heck was 2020 three years ago?

It actually just dawned on me that it is now 3 years ago!

I can’t believe in 2 months time it will be 3 years since the madness that is the pandemic began! I mean where has the time gone?!?!

I see what you mean. However, it passed so slowly when we were living through it,

Time goes. How are my children 6 and 10? How am I 38?? Some days are so long and yet the years are so short.

I was thinking the same earlier.
It's unreal like a 3yr time warp during which we endured a stupid made up film blockbuster.

Only it happened.

I can't believe that 3 yrs ago my kid was heading for a levels and now they're in the last year of the most boring and daunting uni experience ever.

It's all absurd.

Was thinking about the first time I heard the word “coronavirus” ….. it was a news channel about this mysterious illness which was spreading in china

It's mad isn't it. And keeps going quicker the older we get.

My DD was in last year of primary when the pandemic hit and now she is choosing her GCSE subjects!

Most of it was less than 3 years ago if that helps.

Totally agree with PP who say that covid was like the slowest times of our lives.

I was at the London Fireworks seeing in 2020 and I remember looking around and thinking I hope that virus from China hasn't made its way here otherwise those of us in this crowd will be absolutely fucked...
