Bump

I'm thinking of doing this, wondered if anyone else had.

Yes I did one of their waves last year. It's very good as long as you stick to it 100 %

There is a lot of food prep involved though which does get very tedious. It's a low fat & low carb eating plan which can be very restrictive so be warned if you've got any social occasions coming up which involve food. No alcohol allowed on it either.

The exercise is generally doable as it builds up gradually over the 11 weeks and you get a lot of support from the Facebook group you will be put in.

Don't bother buying the battle rope directly from Six Pack Revolution, you can buy one for half the price on eBay or Amazon. And don't bother buying their branded shakes etc. Just check the sugar & protein content against the much cheaper supermarket own brands and buy those instead.

I reckon if you stuck to it religiously you could lose up to 2 stone. I didn't stick to it that well but I still lost a bit, and got much fitter.

Thank you, which shakes did you buy?

I came on to see if anybody had tried this! Interesting article in yesterdays Guardian. The before and after photos are amazing!

The rope looks like you need lots of space which I don't have and has to be anchored?

I might look at you tube to see how it works!

cheeseisthebest · 02/01/2023 22:06

I've just signed up for it!

Have also signed up after the article in the guardian!! We should start a support thread!

Frenchpoule · 03/01/2023 09:48

I also saw the article in the Guardian and am going to sign up in March as have holiday coming up in February so thought it was best to get that over with!
I'd be interested in following the progress of those of you doing it in January though ;-)

cheeseisthebest · 03/01/2023 12:10

Oh yes let's have a support thread! Yep Im worried about the cheese!

I've hurt my back at work so worried about the exercise!
I watched a Q&S tonight, I see Scotty doesn't approve of Keto, so I'll be interested to see the approach. I have two weekends away but I think I can stick to the food bit of it more or less. The exercise maybe not so much (I'll try and do some walking!) but he said tonight that it's 90% diet so I'll give it a good go!

They knocked the before and after photos from a person trying to prove what a pose does on a completely separate issue and site.

Stuckinarut79 · 08/01/2023 09:09

I’ve signed up. Is there a support thread?

RiverSkater · 08/01/2023 15:13

Is if a keto diet? Or high protein ?

I see you can buy the battle rope elsewhere. I'd have to anchor it outside somewhere as definite don't have that space in the house.

I'll have to pass. Going to stick with my kettlebell challenge!
