Anyone know where to buy roses?

A colleague asked me where to buy the best quality red roses. He wants to get 20 for his girlfriend for his anniversary. I had to admit I have never bought flowers for anyone romantically.

Where sells the best roses that you can get delivered?

Have a look at M&S, their flowers are usually good. But TBH, with roses, I’d want to see them and check that they are all the same colour.

Yes I did tell him to go to a florist and deliver them by hand. Not sure how helpful that was though.

Local florists. But keep in mind not all florists are equal. You'd be best off looking up the town GF lives in and googling florists & their reviews or asking for recommendations on their resident fb group

He could get a local florist to deliver - likely to be better quality than ordered from the internet.

Roses, at this time of year? Not very ecologically sound, not to mention the cost!

MrsPotterings · 31/12/2022 17:16

Cyclistmumgrandma I suspect he hasn't given that a moment's thought :)

Agree! They will be from overseas and full of toxins

I see mostly positive reviews www.marksandspencer.com/dozen-red-roses-bouquet/p/flp21039850?prevPage=srp#intid=plpnav_pid_pg1pip14g4r1c4 . Some grumpy people though.

I am happy to recommend something else although I will need to persuade him it will have the same impact. I think he is very keen on her.

Great if you're a florist or flower arranger, less so for someone who wants to give flowers to impress.

I've used Haute Florist several times and the quality is excellent. M&S, particularly their Autograph bouquets, in store are lovely if he wants to buy in person.
