Dd 9 has a party to go to. Due there now. Its down the road.
I refused to take her because i am sick of her not listening to me & being rude.
Dp hasnt even considered maybe he could step in and take her & im totally pissed off about it.
Deep down i dont want her to miss out.
Ive had a fight with dp also.
Just a shit NYE

Will you have a better or worse night if she goes? What did you and DP fight about? Can it be resolved in time to have an okay evening?

It’s just one night. But do what you can to make it as pleasant as it can be.

In that situation I would have assumed she wasn't allowed to go, not simply that you were not taking her.

Oh God, the only thing worse than missing a Nye party must be being stuck in the house with arguing parents. Just row back and take her to the party. Use the space to recharge.
