By giving blood.
If you're able to, I urge you to do the same. It took less than an hour, plus free biscuits!

Well done. I went yesterday. Lovely free bourbons! I look forward to getting the text to say which hospital my blood has gone to.

Well done both of you. I can’t anymore due to a health condition I have and feel really bad about it.

I can't but have been the recipient a couple of times. Thank you

Is it true that the blood donation service has been privatised? I mean, I guess/hope that nobody is making money from the actual supply of blood, but I guess the logistics could be run for profit.

Thorilicious · 31/12/2022 16:37

@Peasepuddingbloodycold it's still done by the NHS.

Well done others for donating, and if you can't, please don't feel bad or guilty...

Thank you 🙏 I received many, many transfusions when my eldest was born. People like you are the reason he still has a mummy. I’d love to be able to donate to pay back the ‘favour’ but sadly now unable to after having the transfusions.
