Please educate me on coffee filters!

I just got a bean to cup coffee machine, and I’m quite clueless! I have some Melitta paper filters.
My questions are:

Can the paper filter be used again after I empty out the coffee grounds? Should it be dry? How many times can it be used?

Does such a thing as a reusable coffee filter exist so I don’t have to keep buying the paper filters?

They're disposable, but I think it's possible to buy reusable filters

No. The paper ones go in the bin. Can get bleached or unbleached. Fresh brew, new filter otherwise you will get all the bitterness from the old grounds.
