We've had minor annoyances so let's look positive, no matter how trivial. Yesterday and today I picked some excellent food bargains in Booth's and M&S. That isn't a stealth boast, BTW. Also yesterday, I repaired my washing machine by replacing a part myself. With impeccable timing, Mr Hotpoint chose Christmas Eve to conk out. We take these labour saving devices for granted.
