How did you lose weight if you're a fussy eater

I need to lose weight. About 1.5 St

Only salad I like is cucumbers and tomatoes
Like basic veg broccoli, sweetcorn, sprouts, parsnips, cauli,

I get bored of jacket spuds easily.

I don't like many flavours

Normally eat
Roasts, bangers mash, pie mash, encroute, meatballs and pasta, bolognese, curry, paella with chicken and chorizo.
Fish and chips, kievs and Southern fried for under beige food catergory
Pizza.

My head is saying just have cereal instead as easier less faffing.
But last time I got into that i went extreme of not having proper meals and ended up with an ED.
And for the same reason i wont use the word ' diet' because i have obsessive nature and will spiral.

So more cutting out or down.

But im sure there has to be some sort of easy healthy meals for fuss pots like me.

Fiber binds fat and water drains it. This would be my first suggestion.
However, if I was your health counselor my first question would be the reason behind your decision to lose weight and why previous attempts have not worked out? Long lasting success depends on the initial motives behind a decision.

I’m a fussy eater.

out of your list pie is probably the most unhealthy in terms of fat vs nutrition.

oven cook or air fry sausages, fish and roasties instead of frying them.

Bolognese and meatballs made with good quality mince and drain the fat off.

cut down on the Kiev’s and have roast chicken portions instead. Lots of the veg you like with your meals.

Swap any wheaty cereal for scramble egg with whatever u fancy, healthier and more filling. Avoid carbs which are basically cheap filler, potatoes within reason are better.

Try WW

You can eat anything you want when losing weight, you just need less of it. I don't think I've ever eaten mostly jacket potatoes to the point of boredom when dieting, I've probably eaten one at most. I would try and ditch the plates of beige though. Ultra processed food is the worst thing to be eating regardless of your weight.

I'd say most of the meals you mention can be made lower calorie without altering the taste hugely. Google 'lighter' then the dish and you will find lots of alternative recipes.
Lots will rely on reducing fat content and carbs. If you find veg tricky look at 'hidden veg recipes'. They are often aimed at children but there's no reason why you can't eat them or adapt them too.
