Ok popnetters, woke up last week with a song going through my head. Gradually getting the lyrics together (I think).

I think it's an early 90's song. I'm sure I had the album when I was about 16yrs old. I had an indie influence - it won't be dance/house music.

It's half sung / half chanted.

Think it's a band but only think that because most of my music was indie type bands then.

It's not Frank Turner (dunno who he is).

But off to Spotify Frank Turner in case he was in the band or done a cover version ...

It's not that one.

It's a similar rousing chorus style,
The one I'm thinking of is less fierce.
But I am currently listening to Frank and enjoying this.

The song that comes to mind is Independence Day by the Comsat Angels but that was 80’s .

Arghhhhhh no. Its not those.
But wow to reminding me about the Comsat Angels. They were a fav of one of my siblings (who saw them about 10yrs ago at some event).
