Borneo - dengue fever?

Looking to go to Borneo in July. But - we read something about it having bad rates of dengue fever...has anyone been? Were you particularly worried?

Where abouts in Borneo? It’s huge! I was there a few years ago and didn’t hear anything about Dengue. I did get it in Laos though, where the risk was supposed to be low. It’s pretty miserable, but not that serious, at least the first time round.

Thank you for the reply! I think we'd be travelling all over so I'd have to take everywhere into account.
