How can I tell if it's my muscles or fascia that aches so much?

I don't know what this feeling is, it's like a tearing ache around my lower back & the sides of my glutes. An extra long massage removes the feeling and gives me freedom. I was never like this pre menopause. I'd like to free myself up from this discomfort. Has anyone else had similar? How did you deal with it? Do you know the source of it?

I don’t know how to deal with it, but I’d love to! Hopeful bump

Well by pure luck I found a cure @A27009D56 Opening my bathroom last night I spied some high strength magnesium at the back. I bit one in half (because they were super high strength) and swallowed it. One hour later, my pain lifted. Just like that. A fecking Mg deficiency! I've made a mental note not to forget this. The relief is immense.
