Duo boots question

If you’re measuring your calf size to buy Duo boots, are you supposed to buy the boots in the same size as your calf, or are you supposed to go up a calf size to allow for having space or something? I’d like to wear them normally, not over jeans or anything.

When I last bought from them they had actual measurements of your leg that the boots were made to, I see they have now changed it to a few options with ranges of width rather than your actual calf size

Not sure how that works if you're in between sizes

I seem to measure almost exactly one of the sizes they actually make, but I’ve read some reviews saying the sizing was off so that’s why I’d like to get some information.
