After I’ve fed the dogs I move their bowls into a corner of the kitchen floor to be washed later. If I have any leftovers for them, I put the bowls onto the kitchen bench to put the scraps in. I’ve only just realised that the bowls have been on the floor which is only mopped once a week or so. I’ve never wiped the bench after. I wasn’t until I put fruit I’d just washed there that I thought about it. I’ve had the dogs 10 years!
