Anyone have a beach hut?

I'm bored and looking forward to summer. Does anyone have a beach hut? The are SO expensive!

I'm just intrigued and nosey! If you have one do you love it?

On a waiting list. But ours are owned by the council and they let them so not too expensive. Waiting list is years long though.

Ooh like an allotment? Is that because you're a resident and pay council tax there?

No, anyone can apply to be on the waiting list regardless of where they live. I do live in that council's area but there's no requirement to.

It's still about £1k rent a year I think so still an expense but not like the buying them for £100k you see!
