@ApolloandDaphne It ends in the same 5 letters as 995, also on 995 move the third letter to the start so letters 1 and 2 become 2 and 3 then add three other letters after them

I'm in a similar hole but without either of the 990s that there are clues for.
I'm guessing from all the letter swapping clues it's not a straightforward synonym

I took a hint for 999 and got it from that.
Why is it so easy to get 990s but so infuriating to get TARGET?

Nice one but slightly annoyed at myself as one of my regular starter words was my first green and I usually try it early on. Could have been a sub-20 score!
