Anyone else have an ex that agrees to go halves on dc expenses then backs out?

He’s an abusive %#* in many other ways but I’m so flipping tired. Four weeks ago he agreed to pay for dc2’s tutoring, now he’s refused. Thankfully lovely tutor who I’ve been using for 3 years for dc1 hasn’t insisted on a terms fees in lieu of cancellation. I’ve been covering every expense alone whilst he pays a pittance then deducts his travel expenses from the little he pays.

I’ve been stalked, harassed and intimidated for over 5 years, so much so I put security cameras around my house. I have as little contact as I can with him. I’ve remained silent throughout. He’s always sure to skirt just within the law, the police aren’t interested.

Every time I think we’ve turned a corner, he ramps up the abuse, then the subsequent gaslighting starts. I remain silent, I don’t antagonise him meanwhile the abuse continues. 10 years still to go, I literally can’t be bothered anymore. I often think it would be easier just handing dc over and walking away.

Oh that sounds absolutely exhausting.
Keep ignoring him. Do you get maintenance via the CMS?

He’s self employed and so pays a pittance then gets his expenses deducted from it too.

I’ve raised a case with CMS hoping it gets transferred to the Financial Investigation unit. I’ve emailed my Mp too who’ll raise it with the head of CMS but I won’t hold out much hope as he’s been under paying for over 5 years now.

I’m just so tired of all of it but I can’t see no way of escaping it.
