Most successful Christmas presents for men late 20s-early 30s

Just as the title says, really.
Got my son-in-law a hat with a light and some walking socks for Christmas which he seems pleased with.
However, he's got a birthday at the beginning of January and I'm out of ideas.
What gifts have your male relatives/friends seemed to appreciate this year?

Do your SIL and DD drink? If so, a nice cocktail shaker, a book of cocktail recipes, some nice glassware? Can bulk up with packets of cocktail stirrers etc. (Don't buy him those whisky stones/ice cubes for whisky. Good whisky should be drunk neat with a splash of water added to open it up a bit, apparently! Cheap whisky should be added to a mixer. No whisky should be drunk neat "on the rocks" as the cold temperature dulls the flavours😁)

My DH is 34 in a couple days.

I've got him:
A magnetic phone holder for the car (clips on the air vent)
A wireless charger for his phone (wireless in that you sit the phone on it but you do still have to plug it into the wall)
Sour sweets because he really likes them
Box of Lindt as he loves that too
Thinsulate fingerless gloves

Does he like cheese? We got a make your own cheese set (can find on Amazon) and apparently they're hugely popular at the moment. Otherwise, does he like anything in particular? Eg. Mine likes aviation so I've got him a book about planes. He also likes superdry so I got him a gilet but he'd have liked a t shirt or long sleeved top from their also.

Cocktails would be fun and I'm intrigued by the cheesemaking set - for myself, possibly, as well!
