Laptop help

I'm in a fortunate position to be laptop shopping (dp is buying) but what should I buy?

Requirements:

Runs Microsoft Office suite (365) remotely

Can run games I like (sims, 2 point hospital)

Doesn't need to run complicated fast action online game that dd likes but an advantage (world of Warcraft) as she can borrow then.

Compact and light enough for travel as want to use it to "wfh" when travelling

Pressed too soon

Budget isn't huge but would prefer to spend a little more to get a more future proofed machine

Don't know what your budget is but you'll need a certain spec laptop if you want to play WoW.

It's only 256gb ssd (hard drive) but that can be changed at a later date
Don't forget to add in price of Office if necessary.
