Can anyone tell me what this piece of exercise equipment is?

I was hoping it was a roman chair for back extensions, but partner thinks its for sit ups. Didn't want to have a go and look like a dick, so, in the absence of staff, can anyone identify it??

I'd say hyperextension bench, for back extensions. I have a slightly more diagonal one but always liked the look of horizontal ones. That one has two positions for ankes.
Not sure how you would do a sit up with it. Usually safer to do them on the floor.

Thanks @Scramble1805 , as soon as I saw it I thought it was for back extensions. I've used them before and love them, but this looks different to the ones I've used. Will definitely be asking staff when they're around!
