any straight forward, simple, ideally free, non gory phome games that are absorbing and addictive and fun to play, and possible to play in a semi -recumberant position?

Little alchemy. We as a family spent the time between Christmas and new years absolutely addicted to this a few years ago.

I loved Dead Mans Phone.

Its a long game, took me four days I think, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

You basically have access to the phone of a man that’s been killed, and try and figure out who killed him.

I keep trying to find similar interactive games but no luck so far!

Luna story is a nonogram game (including 20x20 puzzles, in Luna story III at least) that’s quite fun.

I play it while listening to audiobooks.

2048 is wonderfully mindless, while at the same time requiring just a teensy bit of attention and maths. None of my versions have ever had intrusive ads, either. I particularly like the version called

Oops.

I particularly like the version called, I think, Hexic.

Most games by Boy Howdy are easygoing, too.

Hue is also great. Very different to any of my other games. The way you get the first game of the day for 'free', but have to watch an ad to get each subsequent game, means that I pace myself and rest my eyes between games. That's because I don't watch the ad! Instead I put the phone face down and either shut my eyes for a minute or just do something else.

I also like A Dark Room
It's a text adventure game - it takes a while but I enjoyed the suprising ending.

I came across a game called Murder by Choice. It is free but you can pay for extra power. You can also watch ads to top up power. Really enjoyed it. It is Android.

I am stuck at home with Covid - DP has taken the DCs (all negative) off for an overnight family visit. So far I've washed all my bras (won't be needing those!) and started my tax return. But these sound like much more fun.

My absolute favourite is Property Brothers Home Design - a mix of match 3 type puzzles with interior decorating challenges. I'm now on level 15743

I love the monopoly app it's about 2.99 to buy but you can play with a bot,random people or family members.
Each game lasts around an hour so passes the time.
