What nonsense is this? (Lighthearted)

I have received some posh toiletries as a present - very much appreciate the kindness of the giver but I am mildly baffled by some of the contents.
Most of all something called a 'body souffle'. A souffle made out of bodies? Something that needs to be used straight away before it sinks?

There is also something called an 'exfoliating scrub' which appears to be smelly sand...

My skincare regime is confined to industrial strength moisturiser to tackle chapped hands so admittedly I'm probably a bit out of touch. But souffle? Really?

They're trying to make something boring into something interesting by renaming it. It's probably a foamy moisturiser.

Either way, both products are annoying, and life is too short to spend applying sand to your arms and legs (then having to clean the shower afterwards) and getting all sweaty in the process, not to mention the risk of slipping over once you've applied the souffle.

Yes it reminded me of beach holidays where having sand everywhere while showering is not exactly desirable. I suppose I should admire the power of marketing which enables sand to be sold for what I suspect was not a small amount (based on the brand, have no idea what it actually cost).
