Sick of DH being sick

So here it goes. Don't really expect any advice, just need a little rant. DH gets unwell all the fricking time. He works away, his time at work and home is about 50/50, he occasionally gets ill when he is away but mostly when he is at home, it's cold, flu, tonsillitis etc. And then he needs to go to bed for days and he's useless and pathetic, I'm the one taking care of children and I'm at my wits end. I suggested many times for him to see a doctor, he doesn't see any purpose of that, he says it's fine and he'll recover soon, I buy him vitamins to boost his immune system and it seems to work for a brief moment and then he stops taking them and gets sick again. I guess I'm lucky to be having a good health all my life and hardly ever get unwell but this is so frustrating, it's like I'm married to a wimp. I understand he isn't doing this on purpose but can't stop myself from being so annoyed and tired of this, it's exhausting. My gosh it feels so much better to tell this to someone.

What is his diet like? He shouldn't need supplements if eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruit & veg.

Does he exercise? Fitness will help his immune system, as will getting plenty of sleep and avoiding too much alcohol.

Are you quite sure he’s not allergic to something at home? Allergies can often cause cold/flu symptoms and even fever.

If he’s getting sick that often why hasn’t he been to the doctor? I would be forcing him to go and telling him it’s completely not normal to be sick that much! Tell him your family need him to be healthy and he needs to find the cause of all this sickness!
