I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I know it isn't always easy!
DH worked days during Christmas Day and is working tonight.
We celebrated on Christmas Eve and yesterday was just me and DS (2). We spent the day doing lots of walks, playing in the park, playing with his Christmas gifts and chilling. We had curry for dinner which he was delighted about.
It's not the traditional Christmas Day but it was perfect for us. More importantly, as he grows older I know we can make day the special with new traditions and fun things (already thinking about a gingerbread decorating contest) even on the years DH is working during Christmas.
So I hope you had an amazing time too, as traditional or non traditional as it may have been.
