Anyone know of anything that can help relieve the symptoms associated with chilblains?

Hirudoid cream - available from pharmacy.

I have suffered awfully for years and out of desperation this year, I asked the GP to prescribe me nifedipine (I have tried all the usual things advised).Gp eventually agreed but whilst I was awaiting my prescription, I searched you tube for chilblains and found mention of the Hirudoid cream by podiatrists many based in Australia. I had never heard of it being recommended in the UK before, so looked it up - it does something to the blood vessels just under the skin and is mainly used for bruising. I ordered some from an online pharmacy here in the UK and it has helped so much, that I havent needed to start taking the nifedipine tablets. I was amazed!!! And a bit annoyed that I have suffered for so long when this cream would have helped.
