Was an early start and a long but good day here. Just watched Call the Midwife with a large whisky and a slice of Christmas cake and feel it's time for bed

No. DC fast asleep since 7. DH just gone up to bed. I'm having a couple of hours to myself with a G and T with lots of ice.

Shortly. Around 10pm DH or I will take DDog into the garden for a bedtime wee/poo and then turn in. Long busy week ahead going to see family and hosting. Can't wait for this week to be over tbh.

Just got DD into bed after a very busy day. Need time to unwind and just chill. Wanted to watch Eastenders but may just end up sitting in silence with a drink 🤣 first time I've ever hosted and my god it was hard work. I have a 2 bed flat with a large lounge and kitchen area - large when there's only 2 of us in it! Had 9 today and 2 small dogs and literally couldn't turn around without someone being up my backside!

No. Still got guests over. We went to midnight Mass last night and were up early to get dinner on but having too much fun to go to bed. It's Christmas, no time for sleep

I like the idea of going to bed but somehow my 4 and 5 year old let me have a 2 hour nap on the sofa this afternoon so I’m wide awake. (Don’t worry their dad was here too).

Nope. Just dropped DS at a friend's on our way home, he will probably rock up about 2am. I haven't been able to have a drink today as I was driving. So just opened a bottle of wine.

Bed about 1am I reckon, but I didn't cook today, DS cooked for everyone.

Just waiting for my indigestion to clear (bloody pastry!!) then I’m off upstairs. DMIL went off after CTM, DH, DD and our two lovely guests are staying up to watch a film with hot drinks (laced with brandy no doubt 🤣🤣) and Yule log from the look of things. They’ll be up for hours yet.
