Help, the lid came off my salt and Ive ruined my stuffing for tomorrow?!?!

What can I do to fix this? Ive. No breadcrumbs. Is there anything I can do ? Help help help please

Don't stir it, can you scoop most of the salt back out where it went in? You may lose some stuffing in the process but better than wasting the whole batch.

Just take off the top layer? Will lose a bit overall but better than nothing!

If scraping it off doesn't work, can you pop out tomorrow morning for new ingredients? Or a packet?

Oh guys, I'm an idiot! In my panic I stirred it (no idea why I did that) and it tastes so salty lol I've added lots of butter to try an neutralise the salt! I may need to pretend to be sick tomorrow to get out of visiting in-laws if this doesn't work 🤣 can't get extra ingredients as we leave at 7 for a two hr drive

Ring them in the morning, say what happened and ask them to get the Paxo in while you are on the road?

If you’re doing a two hour drive you will be passing many supermarkets in villages and towns just off the main road/motorway. Google a couple now, check they are open tomorrow and pop in to buy some ready made or frozen stuffing balls

Just serve it up and don't say anything? With any luck everyone will be too polite to say anything, and it will just become a thing that happened that no one ever talks about...

What I think I'll do is serve it up with lashings of cranberry sauce and turkey. ( wine too) and hope no one notices 🤣
