I have keep getting an email and a text message from the Wyndan group claiming I have a rebate and I need to send date of birth, current address, partners NI number and partners name. Is this genuine?

I don’t recall sending any info off to them in the first place but Google seems to claim they are genuine..

A tax rebate? How the heck would these people know, if they aren't already an organization you deal with and already has relevant info?

Maybe best to contact HMRC.

I think I’ll just delete the email and ignore the texts.
