Child been unwell since Tuesday

GP says Viral, Had a nose bleed this morning on and off for 3 hrs, was told go to urgent appointments I. Hospital. Child now sleeping, and doctor says it could take weeks with viral to heal. Not sure I can do more but worried as never known my daughters to be so tired for so long!
Hardly eating either.

My ds was sick for 5 days with what I assume was the flu. High temp, body aches and pains, cough, couldn't eat. He literally just drank water and slept. Since day 6, he has slowly improved every day.

I was quite concerned as like you, I have other children and none of them have ever been sick for that long, 2 days usually and vast improvements by day 3.

Thank you. My daughter has sensory issues, and it's looking possible she might be on the spectrum , she has Had a drink but not as much as she should which is a worry. Told doctor this but didn't get told much. It's a worry as she doesn't listen. Really can't do much more than I have after seeing GP and doctor at hospital at request of 111.

My daughter used to get ill for weeks with unspecified viruses. It's only just starting to improve after lockdown. However anything virus like she still gets wiped out for about 10 days and she's 11 now.
