Bah Humbuggers

I have created a safe space for all of you humbuggers to hang out.

I have a buffet laid on; dainty plates of sandwiches, home-made quiche, potato salad, coleslaw etc. Not a miserable dried vine fruit in sight.

A selection of artisanal gins...my favourite being Oxford Gin

Vodka a plenty

Fine wines

Fevertree mixers and other upmarket non-alcoholic delights

Vegetarians and vegans will be very well catered for

Cocktail ingredients

The only caveat is that the 'C' word' is off limits.

Wherever you like, m'dear. I lay claim to that garlic dip. There will be cats, too.

Great, I'll park my bum here. Thanks for the heads up about the cat as I'm allergic, I'll have an antihistamine and drink plenty of wine.

next door's cat is in a strange mood. She normally wants to come in the house. She appeared as soon as I put bird food out, ran towards me for petting, then didn't want to come inside. Then she sat between two plant pots for ages, staring at a fixed point, like she was meditating.

I'm half expecting to hear "om" from her.

The cats I have milling around here have been sprinkled with fairy dust, so that they don't cause/upset allergies.

I will bring my four days past the use by date baking camemberts and montagne fondue in case we run out of cheese 🍷

I'm actually not a chocolate fan, I rarely eat anything sweet. I've just been savouring some Doddington Farm cheeses - Cuddy's Cave and Bewick edge. Lovely stuff!
