After not getting much exciting??

I have my eye on a specific piece on Etsy and some craft stuff.
DH has told me he didn't bring one present to my relatives because it was too big so I won't order the possible large crafting item!

I didn’t get anything 😢

might buy myself a Kindle

I have learnt from past disappointments, now DH takes me into the city for lunch, and to buy my gifts. Works out much better. I wonder what the large gift is OP? I hope it’s not an ironing board! 😂

@Bekindbekind do it!

I got some cash so am buying the things I want. Sadly my sports watch just died so I will have to use the money to replace it. Looking to buy a coat with the rest (and a bit of my own money).

There's a very slight possibility it might be as I have a sewing cave in the attic and I asked for a wall attached ironing board last birthday and didn't get it.
I hasten to add I do not iron clothes that are already made. They go to the ironing service.

I accidentally hit upon a brilliant idea this Christmas. I've recently started using stich fix and by luck my latest parcel arrived 3 days before xmas. I put it under the tree 'from me to me'. Hadn't a clue what was in there but really enjoyed opening it this morning and surprisingly the family were all fascinated. Got 3 things I really like so worked really well. Am definitely doing that again Xmas Smile

That's genius!
I am a bit over Stitch Fix but to be fair I've had a good run with them.

I don`t do christmas at all but i do treat my self every year.
This year was a new laptop next year a holiday .

Yeah. DH bought a newer version of boots I already own. The same ones just newer. I know he meant well and was being practical but honestly when my boots need replacing I'll just replace them. So going to treat myself to a few bits I think. Currently hunting around for inspiration...

DH and I either sent each other exact links or actually purchased stuff ourselves and handed it over for wrapping - aside from a couple of small extras. We are both very happy with our gifts!

It's taken nearly 30 years though.

I’m a lone parent and no contact with family so I buy for myself anyway, I do know what’s in the gift bag but it’s still nice to open the bits up while ds opens presents. As an advantage I always want the things I get 😁

GirlInTheMirror27 · 25/12/2022 15:25

I've learnt from the past and either buy my own Christmas presents and wrap them up I have to specify exactly what I want. Every Christmas I know what I'm getting or getting myself
