PSA - Lol OMG dolls hands come off!

This may already be common knowledge and I'm the last to catch on but the time I have spent over the years trying to fit clothes over these bloody dolls teeny, wriggly hands and I've only just found out! DD got a few Lol OMG dolls for Christmas. I'm sitting there trying to get the bastarding jackets on and DD says "why don't you just pop the hands off?". I'm sorry, what?! Give them a little pull and off they come, leaving a nice solid arm to slide in to the clothes. Then the hands push straight back in. Mind blown.

Any other toy assembly tricks I don't know about?!

I found this out when the stupidly expensive lol omg dolls all had absolutely no hands by new years eve last Xmas!!

You must mean the bigger dolls, on the normal sized dolls the heads come off.

Happyelfjokeday · 25/12/2022 08:45

That happened this morning as I was getting it out of the box, was really worried I’d broken it (did put it back in the arm but thought perhaps it was now loose & going to fall out a lot). Glad to hear it’s intentional!

Where does prostate-specific antigen (PSA) come into this?

Deathraystare · 25/12/2022 09:02

That reminds me of the tiny tears foll when I was at school. I cannot remember if the heads came off but you could not put them back on or whether is was their hands. I never got one (sob!) so I do not know.

GnomeyGnome · 25/12/2022 09:05

Yes it's the bigger ones! Absolute tat but DD loves them.

To be fair, I'm not sure if they are meant to come off but it certainly made me feel less like opening the wine at 6.30am with how easy it makes putting the clothes on 🤣 They've gone back in fine and don't feel any looser than before.
