Merry Christmas

It's been a tough year and won't get any easier any time soon, but I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas.
I have had to make some tough decisions in respect of what my day will look like.
I hope we can find some pleasure in what the day holds.

Merry Christmas 🎄

Celebrations almost over where I am as we do the big meal and presents on the 24th. It was not a perfect evening but it was nice overall, compared to some really shitty ones we had as children.

Tomorrow we need to finish the Christmas crisps and there is a mountain of sweet stuff to dig into. I’m meeting a friend in the afternoon for what should be a nice lovely walk (hopefully he doesn’t bring his latest girlfriend along…).

I can’t sleep. I’ve already stuffed myself with cheese and crackers and some biscuits from a hamper someone brought round for us. Now I feel I need some gaviscon. It better go away as I have a roast dinner to stuff down my neck later

I'm still up putting the world to rights with my adult DS over a few glasses of wine. He's had a really tough time recently, but he's doing OK and we're having a great chat. He's just nipped out for a cigarette, so I've popped on here.
