What to do with 66 Ferrero Rocher?

I mean we can eat some of them.

But what can we do with the rest? Donate? Make tray bakes for the entire street?

Help!

Just eat them. They won't go off that quickly.

Beanbagtrap · 24/12/2022 23:01

Eat them. A ferrero rochet an hour keeps the doctor on e-consult. Isn't that the saying?

RNBrie · 24/12/2022 23:01

Post them to me? I reckon I could eat 66 with no problem 😬

AndrewGloubermanisaperv · 24/12/2022 23:01

They would be gone in literally 1 day in my house and mostly by myself 🤣

hugefanofcheese · 24/12/2022 23:02

Eat some, save a few, give some to a food bank/ soup kitchen?

AmethystMoonShine · 24/12/2022 23:02

Make a big pyramid with them and pretend you’re at the ambassador’s reception of course Grin

Icantremembermyusername · 24/12/2022 23:02

Make cheese cake and decorate it?
In this house they'd be gone in less in 66 hours.

Always4Brenner · 24/12/2022 23:03

Enjoy them over a few days weeks.

Rogue1001MNer · 24/12/2022 23:09

Personally, I'd burn the disgusting abominations, but I'd donate to a food bank

WhenTheDragonsCame · 24/12/2022 23:09

I think my 12 year old could get through those in an hour easily. I was thinking of buying some for her earlier and forgot.

You could make brownies or cheesecake with them.

DDivaStar · 24/12/2022 23:09

Use them as a new year advent calender.

PauliesWalnuts · 24/12/2022 23:10

@AmethystMoonShine wins the thread 😁

Whatevergetsyouthroughthenight · 24/12/2022 23:12

My DP once was actually invited to a reception by the British Ambassador when working somewhere obscure overseas.

Not a single Ferraro Rocher to be had.

I think you need to donate them to the Foreign Office so that no one ever suffers the same crushing disappointment ever again.

Ineedwinenow · 24/12/2022 23:13

Pop them in one after the other! I could do 66 in about 66 seconds 😆

MenaiMna · 24/12/2022 23:15

Haven't rtft but how is it not obvious? Get out the superglue and do a conical sculpture on a tray a la ambassador?

SoftSheen · 24/12/2022 23:15

AmethystMoonShine · 24/12/2022 23:02

^^This, absolutely Xmas Grin

Northernsouloldies · 24/12/2022 23:15

Not to put to fine a point on it, can be rather jabby on the exit after eating to many.

Soonenough · 24/12/2022 23:17

Smash most of them up and make cheesecake.

scrivette · 24/12/2022 23:17

Make a display, eat lots, make a cake and put them on the top.
I could eat them all, I love them.

MenaiMna · 24/12/2022 23:17

And let me advise you for next year that a box of 24 with randomly placed numbered stickers (1-24 obviously) make a great advent calendar for a teen too cool for the kid's ones.

Having done this, 66 wouldn’t make much of a pyramid. Just a shallow hump.

I reckon the ambassador had some kind of internal structure to his pyramid.

Calibrachoa · 24/12/2022 23:20

I once went to a 21st party where there was a pyramid of Ferrero rocher and said to the birthday girl "Wizis rocher you're really spoiling us. I bet lots of people have said that" and she replied "No, people have said it's nice."

dontgobaconmyheart · 24/12/2022 23:21

I'd just eat them, even if it's over time as they should have a reasonable BBE date. Between a family or guests I'm sure they'd go eventually.

Otherwise if they're separate boxes I'd pop some in to the neighbours as a christmas gift or for the new year or to the food bank/supermarket donation bin/staff at the local doctors surgery/bin men/anyone really.

Probably won't shift many as I think it only called for 12 on top but I recently made a Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake - I think it was a Janes Patisserie recipe. Bloomin lovely!

Vaccine001 · 24/12/2022 23:21

Eat them all of course. Strangest question on MN award goes to .

PhoebeFriends · 24/12/2022 23:22

Put around 7 between 2 slices of bread and make a toasted sandwich - try it -‘‘tis delicious .
