When will be the opportunity to take a post Gcse break next year?

When are they finished doing gcse exams next year

we’d a squeeze a holiday in between exams finishing but before prom

Depends on the board and depends on the subjects being taken, but you will be safe if you leave it until July.
Don't know when your dc's prom is though ? I think it is fairly usual for them to be at the end of June / right at the start of July.

I’m thinking a nice big treat is what we all need

Last few years the contingency date has been around 28-30 June so after that, but we found that they then had sixth form induction days and prom within the next fortnight so they weren't really finished til about 15th July.
