HELP....Cooking your veg today...what time do you do it?

I need to cook all veg bar roasties to take to parents tomorrow. Cant do tomorrow.

So want to cook today then store in very cold hall way...fridge is jam packed.

When should I cook them???

Im doing now I think so it can all cool down and I can sit down at 7pm thats my deadline today!!!

Why can't they be cooked at your parents? Sprouts and broccoli can be steamed for 10 mins to be done and the carrots slightly longer.

It would take just as long to reheat them tomorrow and they would come out somewhat slimy and overcooked if you do them now.

You're a bit late putting the sprouts on...they should have been gently simmering since Easter.

Is that in the slow cooker or the air fryer? With all the energy hikes, I'm not sure that I could have afforded to do that on the hob.
