Earplug suggestions, urgent!

Very long story short.

Very turbulent year meaning I've spent very few nights with dp (call it what you will, we've been going out ages but don't live together, myriad reasons, it works for us). He's put on 2st this year and for the first time ever now snores. Deal-breakingly so. Have just spent the night together for the first time in weeks and have been reminded of this over and over again.

Have booked 3 nights in a hotel just the two of us next week, need urgent recommendations for ear plugs so that I don't turn into the Hulk at 2,3,4am every day please!

And yes, diet and exercise chat in the new year. It really is deal breaker level snoring...

I have used these for years. Better than any of the flimsier foam options, I find. Not perfect, but pretty good. Good luck op! www.snorestore.co.uk/acatalog/insta-putty-earplugs.html#SID=7

Wax ear plugs from Boots or Lloyd's.

Loop quiet earplugs. About £15.

Another one for Boots wax earplugs.

I feel your pain. My DH's snoring disturbs the DC sleeping at the other side of the house.

I think I've tried every type of ear plug available. I have an impressive collection. I've even bought them from specialist sound places. But the only thing that works for me is white noise played through sleepphones (I prefer wired ones as it's so awful if the charge runs out on wireless ones in the middle of the night and I haven't strangled myself yet.) In order to have the white noise loud enough to drown DH's Concord-taking-off volume without hurting my ears, I also wear ear plugs and find the Howard Leight (pink and yellow) type best in terms of effectiveness and comfort.

When we are at home separate rooms.
